Try Tend on a simulated Echo Show
Tend is a care circle for Alexa+. An older adult who lives alone can ask “did I take it?”, is asked before a second blood-thinner dose, can reorder a refill, and her family hears the moment she needs help.
You get the fictional Martin household to yourself: Rose, her daughter Anna and her neighbor Luis. It starts at 8:05 on Rose's morning and closes after 30 quiet minutes. Nothing you do reaches a real person, pharmacy or card.
Things to say
- “What can Tend do?”
- “I took my blood thinner.” Then say it again.
- “Am I running low on anything?” Then “Yes, order it.”
- “I've fallen and I can't get up.” Then switch to Anna's Echo Show and say “I'm on my way.”
- On Anna's Echo Show: “How was Mom's week?”
How it works
Each household is its own Tend server: the MCP server Alexa+ calls, with its own database, account linking and checkout. Standing in for Alexa+ is Amazon Nova 2 Lite on Amazon Bedrock, speaking with Amazon Polly. Hold the microphone button, or the space bar, to talk in Chrome or Edge, or type.
